I am a PhD student at the University of Washington, advised by Sewoong Oh.

I work on problems around the security, privacy and robustness of AI systems. My work is informed by thorough empirical analyses and careful experimentation along with a systems-level view of practical security and privacy considerations. Some of my recent projects include analysing the causes and effects of memorization during pre-training of large language models, fingerprinting and watermarking LLMs, and adversarial attacks to preserve the privacy of personal images against AI-powered image editing.

I am on the industry job market this year. Please reach out if you think I will be a good fit!

I was previously a Pre-doctoral Researcher at Google Research India in the Machine Learning and Optimization team advised by Dr. Prateek Jain and Dr. Praneeth Netrapalli.

In a previous life I was an undergrad at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), where I (among other things) worked on methods to train ML models for future unseen data advised by Prof. Sunita Sarawagi and Prof. Abir De . Head over to the publications page to find a list of works I have contributed to.
